how to design within a greeting card (words)?
I have a program to press, but can never print the words properly and it uses lots of ink
Are you saying that words do not come out evenly over the map when you print to inside? Meaning, they do not line up properly according to the point that back on? If yes, I know what you are going through. I am not a "program particular print, but I have a printer, and I make my own greeting cards. I discovered that you have to adjust the margins on your screen (the computer) to reflect the fold to be in the cards, and also to map completed after the cut to the size of the map. I felt "dummy" cards on plain paper, first, reduce the number of "edges" appropriately so they take on the completed map (overlapping not "fold" and not turning toward the outer edge). After a lot of "trial and error" I finally had my settings correct. At this time, I saved this field blank (I just have lines indicating that the edges where I wanted the feeling to start and end) in the words of my program. Afterwards, when I want a card "before" or "inside" or "back", I just open the "model (s)" that I created, use what the boundaries of my cards, and then print on cardstock. Works wonders for me. Printing greeting cards DO take a lot of ink. I also found that, unless you also use your colors, you'll run out of one of them before your cartridge is empty and will not be able to obtain colors you want.
