Why all of the air leak out of my c02 cartridge when it enters my tippmann airsoft gun?

When I bought new CO2 cartridges and tried to insert them in my pistol, as the cartridge explodes and all the CO2 released. The model is called sport tippmann 104. Does someone knows why he did that?

In most cases, replace the O-ring will fix the problem. For me, sometimes I do not live close enough, and kinda makes you jump when he does that, you must saw quickly beyond that point so it's tighter.
